At Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Emergency & Urgent Care, our approach is simple: set high expectations and work to meet them every day.
To help us continually improve, we invite patients who provide a valid email address or phone number to complete a brief survey, typically within 24 to 48 hours after their visit. The star ratings shown reflect the average response to the question, “How likely are you to recommend this location to a friend or family member?” Patient comments are shared while maintaining confidentiality.
By regularly reviewing and acting on patient feedback, we continue to strengthen the quality of care and overall experience we provide, reinforcing our commitment to patient-centered care across every location.
Who receives the survey?
The survey is sent by an independent patient experience company by text or email within 24 to 48 hours after a patient’s visit to a VMFH Emergency & Urgent Care facility. Patients are asked to rate their experience, answer several questions and optionally provide comments about specific aspects of their care. This feedback is reviewed daily to help improve the care we provide.
Do you post all comments?
We post relevant feedback, whether positive or negative, while protecting patient confidentiality. Comments that are libelous, profane or that risk patient privacy are not published. Every patient rating is included in the overall star rating, even if the comment is not displayed.
We use a rolling 24 months of feedback, so the ratings and comments reflect the most recent patient experiences at the facility.
Can anyone complete a survey or post a comment?
No. Only patients who have visited a Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Emergency & Urgent Care facility receive a survey.
How is patient information protected?
Patient names are not displayed in online ratings or commentary. Any personally identifiable information included in comments is removed before publication. In some cases, comments may not be displayed to protect patient privacy. Even if a comment is not posted, the patient’s rating is still included in the overall star rating.
